What is the Barcelona Mental Health Professional Network
[BCN MHPN]?

BCN MHPN acknowledges the critical role that ALL practitioners play in ensuring the health and wellbeing of the expat community in Barcelona.

We aim to support practitioners across Barcelona’s mental health care organisations by providing safe, relevant, low cost and ongoing opportunities for peer support, networking and professional development.

Transforming our network in to daily effective shared care is up to us all.

Globally, healthcare services are at capacity.

The Barcelona Mental Health Professional Network is not about marketing our services to get more customers but rather, it is about enhancing the services we all provide by working together. The goal is to add VALUE to clients.

We also aim to SUPPORT each other in our work so we can make trusted referrals for clients and/or work together for better outcomes.

Benefits include

  • Enhanced outcomes for our expat consumers via shared care
  • Personal connections with professionals you entrust client care to when referring
  • Trusted referral channels
  • Improved communication across our expat health community
  • Greater support from other professionals who care for the expat community too

By engaging in opportunities to meet with practitioners from other specialties in managing expat health (gynaecology, psychology, medicine, nutrition, psychiatry and more) you will ensure you are locating the best professionals to refer your patients to, to ensure a truly holistic approach to your expat patients’ health care journey.

After all, aren’t we all working to make wellness easy?
